The instrument found a strongly anomalous gold signal — 14% Au at the analyzed spot. That is genuinely high for raw ore. XRF reads only the surface of the exact point measured, so treat it as a qualitative confirmation that real gold is present, not a bulk grade for the whole rock.
Iron dominates the matrix (66%), with zinc pointing to sphalerite in the sulfide assemblage. This is classic gossan / polymetallic vein material — the red-brown oxidation, brassy chalcopyrite–pyrite flash, and quartz veining you see on the specimens.
